'Off the Wall' Thomas Wolski-Stonewall 25 year anniversary
'Off The Wall'
To Commemorate 25years of the Stonewall charity I was asked as I have previously to donate a print for their annual Summer party auction.
I thought why not create something special to mark such an occasion. 'off The Wall' is a nod to the 1980's, inspired by the Spectrum game 'Brick breaker'. Twenty five rainbow coloured blocks to represent each year with the score counter numbered accordingly. Using a photograph I had taken from a window in my Covent garden apartment I thought this set the scene perfectly.
The idea of the game was to use the trampoline at the bottom of the screen to bounce the ball at the blocks above, slowly chipping away until they are all gone.
I found the idea simple and fun with a retro twist yet totally relevant to the cause; so much progress has been achieved to date but there is still a long way to go.
The money raised goes to the "Education for All" programme which you can read more about at
